Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from Uganda
Drive from Kampala/Entebbe to Rwanda. Arrival in Nyungwe Forest area, check-in at lodge, optional evening walk.
Day 2: Chimpanzee & Primate Tracking
Morning chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe. Afternoon forest exploration and scenic photography. Overnight at lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes NP
Drive to Volcanoes National Park. Afternoon cultural visit or relax at lodge.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking
Full day gorilla trekking in Volcanoes NP. Spend a magical hour observing gorilla families in their natural habitat. Evening relaxation at lodge.
Day 5: Lake Kivu & Scenic Exploration
Drive to Lake Kivu, enjoy boat ride, and visit nearby local communities. Overnight at lakeside lodge.
